Telephone & Online Appointments With Private Psychiatrist

We understand that even though you may not be able to leave
the house to attend a face-to-face appointment with one of our
consultant psychiatrists, your mental health, now more than
   ever, is important.

We are pleased to say that both Dr Winbow and Prof Hale are now offering appointments online for all patients – new and existing, for both self-funding patients and for patients covered by private health insurance. We hope that this new service will give more flexibility and support for patients, particularly during this period of lockdown.

Consultations can take place either over Zoom, Skype or Facetime. Just let us know when making your appointment, which you would prefer and we will set up the details for you to speak with one of our consultant psychiatrists online. Further details of how it works can be found here.

It is important for an initial consultation to take place online/video and to be for one hour, so that our consultant can get to know you (and you get to know him) that bit better and provide a more accurate diagnosis and the appropriate ongoing support for you. After that, consultations can take place over the telephone or continue online as you wish and may be of a shorter length, as appropriate.
