Our consultant psychiatrists are available for lectures and talks on topics of psychiatric interest to audiences including GPs, specialist consultants, nurses and other healthcare professionals, as well as patient groups.
Dr Adrian Winbow has written articles for GPs on topics such as the link between mental and physical illness including the treatment of medically unexplained symptoms or Somatoform Disorder, and given lectures on topics such as EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitisation and Reprocessing) which has been converted into an article. Both of these articles are also available on request by email.
Prof Tony Hale is Emeritus Professor of Mental Health at the University of Kent and regularly teaches both nationally and internationally on mental health topics such as mood disorders, psychosis, ADHD and psychiatric occupational health.
