Private Psychiatry remains open during the Covid-19 pandemic and is here to help. We understand that this is a difficult time for all and in many ways - and can be particularly hard if you are struggling with your mental health. All of us at Private Psychiatry are committed to supporting our new and existing patients in whatever we can during this anxious time.
Both our consultant psychiatrists are continuing to offer appointments to new and existing patients. We are committed to keeping both our patients and our staff as safe as possible, and are therefore offering remote appointments only - online (via Zoom, Skype, FaceTime) and for existing patients, over the telephone. We hope to be able to resume face-to-face appointments as soon as Government advice allows us to do so.
We continue to accept patients with private health insurance or who are self-funding their treatment. Appointments can be made with or without a GP referral.
Our administration staff can be contacted for queries and appointments Monday to Friday, 9am to 5pm:
Via Telephone: 01732 836320 and
Via Email: advice@privatepsychiatry.co.uk
For further information on making a remote appointment with Dr Winbow or Prof Hale, please see our Online & Telephone Appointments page.
For existing patients requiring repeat prescriptions, we ask that in these exceptional circumstances you bear in mind the considerable increased demand at many pharmacies and please allow extra time for your prescription to arrive and to be fulfilled. Requests for repeat prescriptions should be made via email: advice@privatepsychiatry.co.uk
If you wish to make a payment, please do so via BACS using the details on your invoice or contact us to pay by credit card.
We thank you for your patience, understanding and co-operation during this time.
