Dr Ivana Picek is a Consultant Psychiatrist with specialist expertise in eating disorders and a broad background in general adult psychiatry. She provides personalised, trauma-informed care that integrates medical expertise with psychological insight and creativity.

She works at South London and Maudsley NHS Foundation Trust, one of the UK’s leading mental health services, within a specialist eating disorders service. In private practice, she offers comprehensive psychiatric assessments, diagnosis, and treatment planning.

Dr Picek completed her full psychiatric training in Croatia before relocating to the UK. She is trained in MANTRA (Maudsley Model of Anorexia Nervosa Treatment for Adults), a collaborative and evidence-based therapy for anorexia nervosa. In her general adult practice, she has extensive experience treating conditions including depression, anxiety disorders, bipolar disorder, obsessive-compulsive disorder, trauma-related disorders, personality difficulties and ADHD.

She is a member of the Royal College of Psychiatrists and is currently an Artist in Residence at King’s College London under the EDIFY project, where she explores the intersections between psychiatry, sound, and lived experience. Her creative work focuses on amplifying patient voices and reshaping how mental health is understood and represented.
