Consultant Psychiatrists

Dr Adrian J Winbow MB BS FRCPsych DPM

General Adult Psychiatrist Specialising In:

• Affective Disorders including depression
• Chronic Fatigue Syndrome
• Eating Disorders
• Alcohol misuse and addictions
• Anxiety disorders and phobias
• Post Traumatic Stress Disorders (PTSD)
• Psychotic Disorders and Personality Disorders

Dr Winbow has worked as a Consultant Psychiatrist in the South East, initially in the NHS and since 1980 he has been a private Consultant Psychiatrist in private medical and psychiatric hospitals and clinics throughout the South East of England.

He is fully trained in Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, Psychodynamic Psychotherapy, Counselling and Hypnotherapy as well as being an advanced EMDR therapist.

He is a member of the Association of European Psychiatrists (AEP), a member of the Independent Doctors Federation (IDF) as well as the Federation of Independent Practitioner Organisations (FIPO). Dr Winbow is a member of the General Medical Council's panel of Psychiatric Examiners and Assessors and sits on Fitness to Practice Panels as a Specialist Advisor

 

Dr Sanjith Kamath MB BS MRCPsych

General Adult Psychiatrist Specialising In:

• Alcohol and drug misuse
• Depression and anxiety disorders
• Bipolar Disorder
• Psychoses including schizophrenia
• Stress and Trauma Related Disorders
• Rehabilitation Psychiatry
• Dr. Kamath can treat patients who speak Hindi

Dr Kamath qualified as a doctor in 1999 and completed his specialist psychiatric training in Cambridgeshire. He was a NHS Consultant Psychiatrist at St Mary's Hospital in Northamptonshire from 2007 where he held the post of Lead Consultant for the adult inpatient unit.

He is on the Specialist Register of the General Medical Council and has completed accredited training in General Adult Psychiatry, Substance Misuse and Addictions as well as Rehabilitation. Dr Kamath is a member of the Independent Doctors Federation (IDF) and the British Medical Association (BMA). He has an interest in Medicolegal work and has previously worked in HM Prisons.
