About Us

Private Psychiatry LLP was founded by Dr Adrian J. Winbow in April 2008 to provide a one stop service for the assessment, diagnosis and treatment of individuals with mental health problems. Prior to this Dr Winbow was practicing as a Consultant Psychiatrist at private psychiatric hospitals in Kent.

As a partnership it is our aim to provide first class mental health services to individuals in need in an effective, efficient manner with the patients' needs being the focus of our care. We strive to provide treatments that are evidence based incorporating psychological and nursing treatments and medication where necessary and appropriate.

All our Consultants are on the Specialist Register of the General Medical Council and are either working or have worked as substantive Consultants in the NHS.

Based in Kent, Private Psychiatry LLP was set up by Dr Adrian Winbow to provide psychiatric and psychological assessments, diagnosis and treatments to people throughout the South East. The services also include medico-legal work, lectures and occupational health. Established in 2008 the company's treatment team has many years experience in mental health care. The treatment team includes consultant psychiatrists, therapists, nurse consultant, practice manager and secretaries.

Helping clients to improve the quality of their lives in a timely manner, the company provides the general public and businesses with a tailored care packages. Using experienced and highly qualified staff, the services are designed to be cost effective.

With a close-knit unit of enthusiastic health care professionals, Private Psychiatry LLP has a growing team, highly skilled in providing the best possible care. Private Psychiatry LLP has a very large group of clients, situated in and around the South East of England. Private Psychiatry LLP also welcomes new clients to the practice, and are always happy to accept referrals from GPs and other specialists, solicitors, family members and occasionally clients themselves. They also accept referrals from NHS, providing the client has a private funding. The company is run by Dr. Adrian Winbow who has worked within the mental health care sector for many years. Having previously worked for large private mental health care providers such as Priory, Cygnet and Capio, Dr. Winbow, who is studying for an MBA, is more than qualified to run the company.
