Consultant Information:

Dr Adrian Winbow and Associates was set up to provide a one-stop service for all aspects of psychiatric and psychological assessment, diagnosis and treatment for people who have a range of psychological problems.

The initial assessment is carried out by one of the available consultants, who may then refer patients, to a member of a multi-disciplinary team of therapists.

These include clinical psychologists, psychodynamic psychotherapists, cognitive behavioural therapists, counsellors, stress therapists and hypnotherapists.

They will assess each patients’ needs individually and then may suggest possible solutions for the problems the patient brings.

Qualifications:
MB, BS, FRCPsych, DPM (Fellow of the Royal College of Psychiatrists). He holds a Diploma in Psychological Medicine.

Specialities include:
 General Psychiatry (adult, adolescent and child), Affective Disorders (such as depressive illness), Eating Disorders, Alcohol and Substance Misuse, Chronic Fatigue Syndrome (ME). Anxiety Disorders (phobia), Post Traumatic Stress Disorders and Psychotic Illnesses such as Schizophrenia as well as Personality Disorders.

Further Information:   He has worked as a Consultant Psychiatrist in the South-East initially in the National Health Service and since 1980 has worked as a private consultant psychiatrist in private medical/surgical hospitals and clinics throughout the south east of England.
